GC rearend change

I am having replacing the rearend (whole thing hub to hub) in my 97 GC. I have located one out of a 96 GC for the right price but the guy says the drive shaft enters on the upper half of center and mine enters on the lower half of center. Am I going to have any problems with this ?

Did you ever get an answer to your question? I was just curious as to what you found out about the rear end and how the shaft enters.
