Future plans..

With all my other forums, I take member's rides and add them to the skin. As you can see there are several jeeps on the skin and also see the rotating header on the top left. In the near future, I will be having my skin guy change those jeeps to the members jeeps here. So if you haven't posted up your jeep pics yet, you better as I will be taking several of them and having the put on the skin.

Also, what do you all think about monthly jeeps? As in Jeep of the month?

I like the thought of JOTM. Maybe an overall choice and then if possible a JOTM for each model?

I agree.. Seen it on another site where members would send PM's to new members and telling them to vote for them in the voting.. Which then led to that website having a little break down. Maybe something where like every 3 months or so members can nominate jeeps for the skin (members cannot nominate them selves) then that would lead to a poll where maybe the top 5 jeeps would make it into the skin..? Just an idea..

Also I think that there should be like a 4 vote (or 1 year) period where your jeep can't be put on the skin, so it would always be some one else' jeep on the skin..

I like that idea. If Shaggy is up to changing the skin every couple of months that could be really fun. Then it is always changing and you wouldn't have the little girl battles going on that happen sometimes when there is a JOTM

Yea that's why I think every 3 months gives enough time for everyone to look at the skin and the owners boast about it and Shaggy won't be working overtime to change it up every month.. :grd:

my jeeps are in my album. do i need to post them somewhere else?

and i think monthly jeeps is too much i think it will start bantering but not my choice i really dont have a prob with the way it is looks clean.

Thats fine. With 3 months, it might make it nicer for the winner to be on the skin for longer. Not a bad idea.

Agree completely!!! I think the JOTM would be overwhelming. But as stated earlier by the General Nominations would be a great idea..

Just wondering if you plan to have this look more like GMFS or like tahoeyukon? Either or they will work. Im bias towards GMFS just because I've been there since the begining, but tahoeyukon looks really nice

This design is my new default design on all my auto forums now. I just grown to like it and want to have all my auto forums look somewhat alike so a user coming from say here goes to tyf or ccf will know it has the same connection.

I really like how you have the Tahoe/Yukon form set up with the tech stuff listed separately and by model. I guess If you laid out this board the same way, it would be way too large with a lot of topics??

Aj, thats the plan to do in the future when this site gets a little bigger. I had TYF setup somewhat like JM until there where alot more tech posts. I setup the tech setions and then moved the tech posts out of certain forums and into its own.
