1940's-1950's Willy's CJ2A Jeep

I have a 1940's-1950's Willy's CJ2A Jeep coming to me. I need info on where find the vin at? Also if anybody has oem service manual in a pdf file and willing to share it with me, let me know. Where's sites for replacment parts for this also?

The VIN commonly associated with modern vehicles does not exist for the CJ2. These older vehicles only had serial numbers and some other manufacturing data. There is a data plate mounted on the right side of the firewall an inch or so below the edge of the cowl.
