    First Time Autocrossing

    Took the Miata to Fairfield County SCC to run my first autocross- pretty challenging course. Five runs, three clean and two with a cone each, and the fastest course time of the first timers, placed second in FT division. Fastest time was 60.7, an improvement of 7 seconds from the start of the...

    new comer here i need some GC help

    First welcome dood :favorites13: did you look to see if there were any tabs on it? I know on my XJ there are tabs on the side of the center of the grille piece that slip under the headlight bezels. There may be something tied in under the bumper.

    Sliders!

    Just finished installing my Detours Offroad weld-on rock sliders, picked them up for $175 which is a screaming deal for Detours sliders. They don't make them aymore, and when they were new they usually went for close to $400.

    KJ Owner from Florida

    I laughed reading your first post, man. I wasn't "allowed" to join one offroad club because I didn't "own a real Jeep." They refused a guy who has one of the nastiest DubJays I've ever seen, too. That made me start looking into Liberties, because like most Jeep people I overlooked them when...

    So how many of you love/hate the new slogan?

    not to be that XJ guy, but this has always been the fact- face it, we lift station wagons. :beatdeadhorse5:

    So how many of you love/hate the new slogan?

    Toughest Four-letter Word on Wheels by far was the best. The new one isn't bad, though. And don't hate on the bouncing bewbs. They're bewbs, and they bounce.

    new guy nc

    If you can find a shorter shackle that's still longer than stock, I' say go for that and a mild leaf lift pack. shackle lift + leaf lift = a bit more flex than straight leaves.

    05 Rubicon Sahara

    x a big 2 on second part, dude. looks good! on a side note, I wish they hadn't butchered the book quite as much as they did for said movie, but a cool Jeep came out of it, so who cares?? :drool: Unsure 'bout TJ's but are the 44's low pinion?

    POLL: How do you like your Jeeps? Stock, modded, etc.

    Heavily Modified. Not much on my XJ is stock anymore except the front axle housing, the unibody, and interior pieces. Body mods have been done, some internal engine stuff, clocked T-case, Durango steering box, and a bunch of small tweaks I've done that make the suspension ride how I want. I...

    I forgot a 1940 Oldsmobile in there, too.

    Tire swing

    prtty good price for a swing, I'd say. What made you choose the trailer bearing? I've heard of guys using locking hubs from D60s or even Chevy 8.5's, eliminating the need for a retaining pin on the other side.

    Pallet = Roof basket

    Jerry Bransford on JeepForum hates it, but then again he hates everything that doesn't fit a Dana 35 or that he doesn't think of first :rofl:

    Pallet = Roof basket

    originally for hauling stuff around the local Bayer Pharmaceuticals plant. Probably explains why the plant ran out of money and closed- they spent it all on 300-something-dollar pallets. I'm not complaining though :)
